If you’ve been anywhere on social media lately, you’ve probably been flooded with posts about the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge. This trend has been extremely effective in spreading a message and raising money for a cause. We want to use it in a slightly different way. We challenge all Prolife youth to take on the Prolife Challenge!
Here’s our challenge for you. Take a picture of yourself which communicates your love for every life, whether that’s through kissing a baby, hugging a friend, eating cookies with your Grandma, whatever! Be creative and show us the everyday ways you support life!
Post this picture to your social media sites with the caption: I Love All Life Because...
“The mission of National Right to Life is to protect and defend the most fundamental right of humankind, the right to life of every innocent human being from the beginning of life to natural death . . . National Right to Life carries out its lifesaving mission by promoting respect for the worth and dignity of every individual human being, born or unborn, including unborn children from their beginning; those newly born; persons with disabilities; older people; and other vulnerable people, especially those who cannot defend themselves. Our areas of concern include abortion, infanticide, euthanasia, assisted suicide, and the killing of unborn children for their stem cells.” (This is an excerpt from the mission statement. If you would rather donate to a local prolife organization, please do! Most states have their own Right to Life organizations, such as the Nebraska Right to Life, as well as Crisis Pregnancy Centers, Post-Abortion Counseling Centers like Project Rachel, and much more.
Finally, tag your friends and challenge them to show their prolife love by posting and donating. It’s a quick, simple way to aid the Pro Life movement. We can’t wait to see what you guys come up with! We are the Pro Life Generation, and we will not be silenced!
Special thanks to our friend, Kristin Placek, for inspiring this idea.
