Recently, there seems to have been a large shift in the Pro-Choice debate. Many of my family members and I have noticed that many Pro-Choice proponents have stopped arguing that a fetus is not a human; instead many have stepped into the dangerous mindset that some human lives are less valuable than others.
This idea of unequal values of life has appeared time and time again throughout humans. All oppression, discrimination, and genocides stem from it. The National Socialist German Workers' Party (a.k.a. Nazis) first attacked the handicapped and disabled, claiming their lives weren't "worth" living. Now many Pro-Choice advocates are falling into a similar ideology.
The most horrifying part of this perspective is that it will take the right to life out of our hands; it gives others the power to choose what our lives are worth. The only way to avoid this is for us to stand up against it. We most push that EVERY life is worth living, that EVERY life is equal to another, and that EVERY single human life on the planet Earth is equal to every other life
