I had no signs, I was not wearing blue, I had nothing that shouted I was pro-life. As I looked at children holding profanity-laced signs standing beside their parents, my heart broke and the tears started. Standing in line to enter the Senate chambers, I came face-to-face with Cecile Richards, as she went down the line shaking hands with all the supporters in orange. I wanted to do something, but all I could do was pray. There in the balcony of the senate chamber, as Ms. Davis spoke, I prayed that God would defeat her efforts and save the lives of so many precious babies. Eventually, I had to leave but that day was the catalyst for my involvement in the pro-life movement. Wendy Davis and Cecile Richards were the driving force that God used to push me into finally taking a stand, and while I am sure it was not the result they had in mind, I am very grateful.
What was the catalyst that got you passionate for the pro-life movement? Tell me your story.
