· Start a Pro-Life Club
There’s the Chess Team, Film Club, Honors Society
and Student Government Association, so why not create
a well needed club to promote justice for the unborn?
While starting a club may be daunting at first, all one
needs is a few friends to share in the common goal. Each
campus may be different; however, usually all that is needed to create an official club is registering with the administration office. Check your campus catalog for any additional details.
· Distribute Pro-Life Awareness Items
Pens, wristbands, flyers, and bumper stickers can serve as a major tool for educating someone who may not be aware of the full effect abortion has. Upon ordering, the non-profit organization, Live Action News, will mail quantities of the prolife magazine “The Advocate”, free of cost. These moving magazines cover undercover abortion investigation details as well as scientific facts about fetal development post-abortion and current prolife coverage. Likewise, the Student for Life organization will ship free Planned Parenthood truth cards upon request. These are a must have for anyone wanting further information regarding abortion.
· Participate in National Pro-Life Movements
There are certain days set aside where prolife advocates unite in an effort to bring awareness to abortion through social activities. Specifically, Pro-Life Day of Silent Solidarity (October 21st, 2014), National Pro-Life Chalk Day (October 2nd, 2014), Prolife Youth Tweetfest (May 25th) and even Pro-Life Cupcake Day! (October 9th, 2014). By starting with a few fellow friends, these events can spread across campus like wildfire and serves as a fun way of spreading the prolife message.
These are just a few of the many ways to help spread awareness to fellow peers about the tragedy of abortion. Never get discouraged, it's a cause worth fighting for. You never know if you might be changing someone's mind through your pro-life actions!
