Making the decision to be pro-life is incredible. You’ve realized the cruelty and dehumanization of abortion and you would never support anyone’s right to terminate a life. But, is that enough?
-Start a Club
High school (and middle school) is hard. You’re expected to fit in and be an exact copy of everyone else. But no one ever changed the word by staying the same. Speak out about abortion by talking to your administrators about startingt a pro-life club. Chances are that there are others who feel the same way you do towards abortion. A club would help you find other pro-lifers and bring light to the truth of abortion in your school.
-Speak out on Social Media
So, maybe you can’t start a club right now. But a tool to reach your peers is right at your fingertips-yup, your phone. Or tablet. Or laptop. Log on to twitter, facebook, instagram, and show why you’re pro-life.
-Participate in the Day of Silent Solidarity
Visit silentday.org and sign up to stay silent for one day at school to bring attention to how victims of abortion do not have voices. Participants wear red duct tape over their mouths to represent the silence for life. Talk to your administrators ahead of time to get permission and let your teachers know that you will not be talking that day.
-Participate in the March for Life
The march for life happens every January in Washington DC but gets little to no news coverage- help it grow and get the world’s attention!
Make sure that when you’re able to vote, you do- and that it’s for someone who is dedicated to ending abortion once and for all.
And don’t forget to bring up abortion with your friends and family. Ask what their position is, and respectfully tell them why you’re pro-life.
Speak out. Be more than Pro-Life. Be an abolitionist.
